I have read studies that as much as 25% of office workers time is spent looking for things. That was earth shattering to me. That meant for every 4 people I hired, one was paid just to walk around!
My philosophy before I understood 5S was that if another person could sit down at your desk and find things, you were organized. Now, could someone sit down at your computer and find things?
Nice video, but probably to kind when compared to reality. Reality is much worse.
